Yukon Green Party Policy Releases

Some people find it difficult to position the Green Party. It sounds like it might be a one-issue party. Not so. We believe in sound fiscal management and strengthening our economy, while ensuring that it is sustainable. And a sustainable economy means that social programs and the environment are healthy. More and more people are seeing the Green Party as forward thinking. 

The Green Party is different from other parties in another important way. We do not allow partisan politics to get in the way of good ideas and needed action. We agree with Canadians who say that it’s time for parties in parliament to get on with the job of combating climate change and taking better care of our environment, our health, and our economy. I agree with Elizabeth May when she says, "We support good ideas from anyone."
