	Nicole Wynnyk I think it is so important to vote. We need to support and encourage people to vote for who ever they wish to vote for. I have terminal cancer, so this year I am not just voting for me, I’m voting for my children’s future. I’m voting for John Streicker. John is a true Yukoner. He believes in making a better future for my children and for the Yukon, and that gives me great comfort.
	Chris Clarke I live in West Dawson and I do what I can at the local level to help engage the community in preparing for climate change. I feel strongly the need for a clear, articulate voice to address and take action on this critical issue. I'm voting for John because I am confident he will bring positive, forward thinking solutions to the national table. I admire John's dedication, his thoughtful approach, and his willingness to work hard in spite of the enormity of the problems we are faced with. I'm voting for John for myself and for my children who can't yet vote for the future they are inheriting...

I feel like you are changing people's expectations and hopes for politics whether they are likely to vote Green or not. Your voice is bringing thoughtfulness, respectfulness and actual information into the discussion.
	Michael Hale For years, I've been a Liberal. But one day I woke up and didn't know what that party stood for anymore. With John, I never doubt what he stands for. He wears his principles publicly and honestly and it is inspiring to see and to be around. I'm backing John because of that simple fact - he stands for something that I can be proud to be associated with. In today's political environment, I think that's pretty amazing.
	Bruce Underhill I do endorse you in your campaign to become the next MP for Yukon. I believe you, as a member of and a leader in the Green Party, have the opportunity to make the politicians across Canada and Canadians in general, more aware of Yukon and the issues we have here. I also hope your message of cooperation, versus animosity, between political parties is clearly heard by all members of parliament.
	John A McDonald John Streicker has a strong desire to do things differently, to move away from adversarial politics for the sake of fighting, and to actually work towards goals. He has long-term vision and works for more than just the next election cycle.
	Lee Carruthers I've become a Green supporter and a John Streicker supporter largely because I have been so impressed with Elizabeth May. Her ideas, policies and articulate manner put her well above the rest of the leaders. Green priorities are in the right place and the party is the only one interested in seriously addressing climate change - a huge threat to the biosphere we and many other living things need to stay alive. Green policies regarding energy, urban planning and transportation are well thought out and make sense. Their social policies too put people above corporations - another plus for me. I think the Greens are the party of the future and bright, sensible people like John Streicker will help it grow.
	Daniel Ashley I support the Green Party and John Streicker because I believe in a future that addresses the issues that are important to us today: climate change, global warming. All of these things in the north are going to affect us more than anywhere else in Canada. We need a strong candidate in Ottawa that will represent our voice and our vision, not only for young people but for multiple generations today, tomorrow and for ever. 	Celia McBride I'm actually voting for leadership rather than party. I like Green, of course, but I'm more interested in a dynamic innovator who speaks my language. John is that kind of leader.

	Laird Herbert I am a young voter, and over the past few years I have felt very uninspired by Canadian Politics, and what I see as an erosion of core Canadian values. I support John because I am inspired by his dedication and passion for democracy and social justice. 	Susan Walton About 14 years ago I wrote in my journal that I was ready to share life with a 'funky, talented, travellin' guy' ...and then along came John. This man is tenacious, honest, true and so hardworking it almost drives me to distraction. He stands up for what he believes in and has tremendous passion for life. He is a creative thinker and a very quick study. He is not afraid to be vulnerable. As my husband I love and support him. As a voter, I read the robust Vision Green document and agreed with pretty much everything in it! I am proud that John is putting himself out there as a voice for the type of change I believe Canadians are ready for.
	Othmar Arnold I am supporting John in his campaign to become Yukon's first Green Party MP because I believe that Canada deserves more respectful politics, both in style and in content. I have voted for a Green candidate for the first time in 1981 in Switzerland. I have also witnessed the rise in acceptability and influence of Green Parties in Europe over three decades. That's what makes me hopeful that John will have the opportunity to represent the Yukon in Ottawa. I know that he will collaborate with MPs from all other parties and whatever government to bring forward sustainable political solutions and a form of governance that can make all of us proud to be Canadians again.
	Kyla Piper Long before this looming election sometime last year you came knocking on my door to share your & the Green party’s vision & handed me some pamphlets. I enjoyed the opportunity to speak with you & listen to your responses. Your party’s guiding principles, simply put, are reasonable and sound…they just make sense. I have done a great deal of thought over the winter and habitually tend to support the candidate who is the likely one to win the seat but am morally unable to continue on in that manner. While I am only one vote, you will have that vote in the upcoming election. I wish you great success in your campaign…whatever that may bring.
	Cathrine Morginn I was so relieved that the Green Party and John came along. I had totally disengaged from politics. Worse, actually. I disengaged from the belief that things could be better. When I found out that the Green Party fully addresses all my concerns (not just care of Earth) AND that our local candidate is smart, honest and capable, I threw my support behind John. 100%.
	Kim Melton I started to take notice of the Green Party as I saw people I respect and look up to getting involved, especially John Streicker. I was drawn to the principles of integrity, sustainability (social, environmental and fiscal), and responsible governance fundamental to the party. 	Philippe LeBlond I'm proud to see the growth and enthusiasm in the Green Party since the establishment of the Electoral District Association, especially with John as the candidate. People have been very positive in the door-to-door canvassing that I have done.
	Ross Burnett I am voting for the Green Party because of their progressive environmental policies and their conservative fiscal policies. And they seem to be the only party not making all kinds of outlandish, expensive promises.
	Jessica Thiessen John has a quiet greatness. He is the kind of leader who brings out the best in people, helps them find ways to succeed, and then celebrates the learning that's happened along the way. John's ideas are thorough, logical, and considerate of all sides regarding his own personal opinion. I've always been in awe of the way John's mind blends art and science; I think that's what makes him seem so wise. I'm voting for John because he inspires me.

	Mike Ivens Working with John on this election has made me appreciate just how lucky Yukon politics in general, and the Green Party in particular, are to have him running for the Yukon's MP. His easy-going demeanor understates the great degree of knowledge, experience, and integrity that he brings to everything he does. He adds a sincere, informed voice to discussions and is quietly passionate about ensuring the best outcome for the entire Yukon in a rapidly changing North. He is, quite simply, the Yukon's best choice for its voice in Parliament.

	Deanna McLeod I respect John's intelligence and his knowledge at the local, national, and international levels. He seems to want to find the right answers to difficult issues, not just those that are easy. I think he genuninely respects different perspectives and so is able to connect with diverse groups of people and help them find consensus. I think those are leadership skills that will make for a great MP.

He represents the active ingredients for effective and meaningful political leadership: intelligence, integrity and boundless optimism and enthusiasm. 	Ken Madsen Our family recently completed our "Bird Year, "a year-long trip without using fossil fuels for our transportation. Our goals were to encourage people to think about their fossil fuel use and to promote bird habitat protection. During more than 21,000 kilometres of cycling across North America we didn't hear about any politicians who had a better plan (or more enthusiasm) for dealing with our environmental future than John Streicker, Elizabeth May and the Green Party of Canada.

Yukoners are incredibly fortunate to live within this area and this lifestyle; I need to believe that the person I vote for will respect and protect our home. Their policies are smart and sensible, and the people involved with the party are very down to Earth and approachable.
	Heather Johnson I'm voting for the Green Party because of the long-term thinking that is reflected in their policy for a healthier world. I'm voting for John Streicker because he is an intelligent, creative, and caring leader who can serve our community well.

	Paul Sparling As a person with a scientific background I am well aware of the realities of climate change and environmental degradation and how that will affect economics. John has always provided a more rational insight into the current status of the environmental situation. His understanding of the implications of international movements and his up to date knowledge of the new science pertaining to global environment makes him the best source for this knowledge in the Yukon. John has the energy required to be our MP and the insights into what really matters to Yukoners that's why I voted for him already (advance poll).
	Erica Heuer John Streicker is the candidate I always hoped I'd get a chance to vote for. At home, in Ottawa and internationally, he and the Green Party will represent my values and voice them well. He's got zing. He's a lateral thinker. He's a caring, intelligent, knowledgeable, informed, engaged, sincere, energetic candidate in a political world of ... well ... politicians. I invite people to notice the creative and subtle things John is doing to better engage all the candidates; to improve dialogue, debate and thinking in this campaign; to champion democracy ... and take a listen to John before deciding for whom to cast their vote.
	Sean MacKinnon, Isabel Beauregard We are incredibly frustrated by the perpetual lack of leadership and neglect of critical issues at all levels of government. The emergence of John Streicker as a candidate in this riding gives us hope! John has earned our respect by exhibiting: a comprehensive understanding of the important issues; the initiative to prioritize and address said issues; a heartfelt and informed commitment to the causes; and essential traits such as integrity, confidence, honour and optimism. His party will actually work with other parties, allow its candidates to stray from the party line and will focus on solutions rather than power.
